SANS Institute, the global leader in information security training, today announced the course line-up for SANS Baltimore Spring 2017 taking place April 24 - 29. All courses offered at SANS Baltimore are open to civilians and veterans. Included among the course line-up are several master's degree and graduate certificate courses that are eligible for GI Bill benefits through the SANS Technology Institute graduate school.

"The SANS Technology Institute's regionally accredited graduate programs are approved by VA and the Maryland State Approving Agency for veterans eligible to use GI Bill education benefits. Grounded in the quality of SANS courses and GIAC exams, our cutting-edge graduate classes are available at SANS Baltimore Spring 2017," said Eric Patterson, Executive Director of SANS Technology Institute.

SANS Baltimore will offer courses for newbies as well as highly seasoned information security professionals. Some of the GI Bill eligible courses offered include SEC504: Hacker Tools, Techniques, Exploits, and Incident Handling, SEC660: Advanced Penetration Testing, Exploit Writing, and Ethical Hacking and FOR508: Advanced Digital Forensics, Incident Response, and Threat Hunting. For students that are new to information security, SANS will offer its popular SEC401: Security Essentials Bootcamp Style course.

Attendees of SANS Baltimore Spring will have the opportunity to participate in SANS' popular Core NetWars Experience. This computer and network security challenge is designed to test a participant's experience and skills in a safe environment. It is accessible to a broad level of player skill ranges and is split into separate levels so that advanced players may quickly move through earlier levels to the level of their expertise.
