SANS Institute, the global leader in information security training, today announced its return to Northern Virginia, March 20 - 25. SANS Tysons Corner Spring 2017 features hands-on, intensive cyber security training courses; many courses are aligned with GIAC certifications and will help students prepare for DoDD 8140. Courses and bonus evening discussions will provide attendees with the skills needed to secure and defend networks.

According to Anuj Soni, Senior Threat Researcher at Cylance and presenter of the Malware Analysis: House Rules discussion at SANS Tysons Corner, "IT staff in Northern Virginia, a technology hub for both the private and government sectors, understand all too well the risks organizations face in the presence of creative cyber attacks and rapidly evolving malware. To be better handle these threats, a clear focus on technology solutions, effective processes, and most importantly, skills, is of utmost importance. During my talk, I will share key technical strategies attendees can use to dissect the tools adversaries are using against them. Whether an active analyst or a project manager, this discussion will help IT experts better understand malicious code and the risk it poses to an environment."

SANS Tysons Corner offers a mix of IT security, security management, and digital forensics and incident response courses. For attendees that want to learn more about malware analysis, Aunj will also teach FOR610: Reverse-Engineering Malware: Malware Analysis Tools and Techniques.
