SANS Institute, the global leader in information security training, today announced the line-up of bonus evening discussions for SANS Network Security 2016. Taking place September 10 - 19 in Las Vegas, SANS Network Security will offer more than 20 bonus evening discussions covering some of today's most complex cyber security issues. Included among the discussions are Securing Your Kids, How to Commit Card Fraud, and CISO Success Strategies.

According to Frank Kim, CISO of SANS Institute and presenter of CISO Success Strategies, "Cyber security has increased in importance and visibility. No longer a routine function, today it is a vital component for business growth. For this reason, it is critical that security leaders understand how to connect with senior executives and business leaders. Join me in Las Vegas as I share the three things that will make security leaders more effective."

SANS will also host a Women's CONNECT Event in partnership with ISSA International Women In Security Special Interest Group (WIS SIG) and local association chapters and groups. The event is designed to foster an evening of connections and to build camaraderie among peers.

SANS Network Security 2016 will feature more than 45 hands-on, immersion-style security training courses taught by real-world practitioners. Attendees also have the opportunity to participate in two different hands-on, interactive security challenges: Core NetWars Experience and DFIR NetWars Tournament.
