  • August 25, 2015

SANS Institute, the global leader in information security training, today announced its return to Virginia October 12 - 17 for the SANS Tysons Corner 2015 cyber security training event in the DC Metro Area. The event will feature hands-on, immersion-style security training courses taught by real-world practitioners. For students preparing for the CISSP® exam, SANS will offer an accelerated review course that has been specifically updated to prepare students to pass.

"For those who thought the previous CISSP exam was difficult, it just got significantly harder. With 75 new test-worthy topics, advanced preparation is essential for success," said David R Miller, SANS Instructor. "The MGT414: SANS Training Program for CISSP® Certification course addresses all of the original topics, and covers all of the new topics students need to know to pass the exam. The pass rate for SANS' students exceeds 90% on their first try. To avoid having to take this exam twice, this course is a must."

SANS Tysons Corner will offer courses for those new to the cyber security field as well as highly seasoned professionals. Some of the courses offered include SANS' popular security essentials, intrusion detection in-depth, advanced smartphone forensics, and the New IT security strategic planning, policy and leadership.
