SANS Institute to Bring Cyber Security Training to Virginia Beach

Hands-On Immersion Style Training Targets Today's Most Complex Cyber Security Challenges

  • Bethesda, MD
  • July 9, 2015

SANS Institute, the global leader in information security training, today announced SANS Virginia Beach 2015 taking place August 24 - September 4. This hands-on two week training event will provide proven tips and techniques to deal with today's most complex cyber security issues. Cyber students have the opportunity to take one or two weeks of training in their chosen discipline. Malware analysis, mobile device security, and intrusion detection are just some of the issues that will be addressed.

"Performing malware analysis can be a thrilling activity, but it can also be time-consuming and tedious," said SANS instructor, Anuj Soni. "Join me at SANS Virginia Beach where I will use real malware samples to demonstrate strategies that will accelerate the malicious code analysis process. This discussion will provide attendees with an appreciation for reverse-engineering while offering tips and tricks to speed up an investigation."

SANS Virginia Beach features 13 training courses and 10 bonus evening discussions. From card fraud and security essentials, to Windows and Mac forensics, there is something for everyone.
