Improving IR - Learning from others with Taz Wake
Like Thanos, incidents are inevitable. Every day organisations across the globe are dealing with intrusions, breaches, data leaks and the like. It is important that we, as cyber security professionals, learn from these events and improve our response actions as a result. This session will use a recent intrusion as a case study to identify areas where organisations need to strive to become better.
GenAI - Security Challenges and Opportunities
While Generative AI (GenAI) empowers organizations to tackle new challenges and streamline resource use, it also presents new opportunities for attackers to exploit emerging attack vectors. This often occurs because organizations may not fully understand the intricate workings of GenAI and the associated security risks. Concurrently, the security community recognizes the potential of GenAI to enhance their operations and tools, despite the challenges it may present. During this talk, we will break down how a typical GenAI application is constructed, discussing the various components, risks, and opportunities for the security community.
