Tom Eston is the Manager of the Profiling and Penetration Team at SecureState. Tom leads a team of highly skilled penetration testers that provide attack and penetration testing services for SecureState√¬'s clients. Tom began his career fourteen years ago as a systems and network administrator for several large and medium size businesses. More recently he lead a internal penetration testing team for a Fortune 500 financial services organization. Tom focuses much of his research on new technologies such as social media and mobile devices. He is the founder of SocialMediaSecurity.com which is an open source community dedicated to exposing the insecurities of social media. Tom is also a security blogger (spylogic.net), co-host of the Security Justice and Social Media Security podcasts, contributor to the Samurai-WTF (Web Testing Framework) project and is a frequent speaker at security user groups and national conferences including Notacon, OWASP AppSec, Black Hat USA, DEFCON and ShmooCon.
