Charlie Vedaa has more than a decade of security engineering and incident response experience. He has consulted for a diverse range of clients, including the Department of Veterans Affairs, the Pentagon Force Protection Agency, and the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
Charlie has a background in network engineering and design and has been a CCIE since 2001. He has completed security training from the Defense Cyber Investigations Training Academy (DCITA) and SANS. He holds more than a dozen certifications, including GREM, GXPN, and the prestigious GIAC Security Expert (GSE).
He has contributed to the security community through open source projects and speaking engagements. He created the now defunct PacketProtector, Impostor.io, and pwn0 projects. Charlie has also presented at several conferences including DEF CON, ShmooCon, and HOPE.
