I've Been Geo-Stalked! Now What?
- Larry Pesce
- Wednesday, November 14th, 7:00pm - 9:00pm
You know that picture you posted of your kids at your backyard barbecue? It may contain embedded latitude and longitude data which allows anyone so inclined to reverse-program your home address using readily available code. Larry Pesce of PaulDotCom discusses how something as innocuous as personal photos shared on social networking sites can be collected and used, over time, to build behavioral profiles which malicious actors can use to target you where and when your systems are at their most vulnerable. Learn how to detect intrusions perpetrated in this way, the detection challenges and how to prevent them from occurring in the future.
