It Only Takes One
- Jorge Orchilles
- Thursday, November 7th, 8:15pm - 9:15pm
One employee, one click, one compromise, one breach. Most attacks today rely on an insider to click on a link or visit a malicious website. Your organization may have hundreds or thousands of security conscience employees but it only takes one to fall for a spear phishing attack. This talk will focus on how attackers perform spear phishing and how one may perform it against your own organization to educate your users. This method has proven to be a great supplement to traditional security awareness training.
The following bonus sessions are open to all paid attendees at no additional cost. There are many different types of events that fall into these categories:
- SANS@Night: Evening presentations given after day courses have ended. This category includes Keynotes.
- Special Events: SANS-hosted events and other non-technical recreational offerings. This category includes, but is not limited to, Receptions and Information Tables.
- Lunch & Learn: Short presentations given during the lunch break.
