Ava Woods-Fleegal

Ava Woods-Fleegal

Ava Woods-Fleegal (CISSP, CEH, Sec +) is a Security Awareness and Training Program Manager at Zoom. She received her Bachelor of Science in Cybersecurity and her MBA from University of Maryland Global Campus after completing coursework at Virginia Tech in Computer Engineering. Ava has run security awareness programs previously at DXC Technology and CACI. Before this, she held positions heavily involved in metadata management, data governance, online content management, and program awareness and branding at Navy Federal Credit Union.

Cassie Clark is passionate about integrating the human element into security. She develops awareness programs focused on behavior change and culture, using trainings, events/activities, and strategic messaging to engage employees. She is particularly proud of her use of outdated, nerdy pop culture references. As Sr. Security Awareness Program Manager at Cruise, she leads security culture for the company. Prior to Cruise, she focused on employee engagement for the Security team at Salesforce. She holds a Master's degree in Women's Studies.

Erica is responsible for developing the global strategy for engaging and empowering secure behavior change across customers and 40,000+ employees over ANZ’s 30+ geographies. Erica believes in the importance of simple language, clear individual action and personal relevance as key ingredients in driving a strong cyber security enablement program. Erica is excited to have co-founded and grown the Security Influence and Trust group for Awareness professionals in the Australasia region. Erica completed her MBA qualification at Melbourne Business School in 2008 following the earlier completion of a Bachelor in Arts and Science at Melbourne University, with a focus on Behavioral Sciences, including Criminology, contributing to her passion to help staff become cyber safe.

Kathryn Jensen is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP). For the past 5 years, Kathryn has been utilizing her organization and communication skills to manage the Security Awareness and Training Program at Esri. Defining and developing communications, managing educational content, maintaining internal websites, generating presentations and coordinating events to increase employee awareness around security topics and security policies. She built the program at Esri from the ground up and continues to enhance, expand and improve the program whenever possible. Kathryn maintains certifications for Project Management Professional, Scrum Master, Product Owner, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, ITIL, and GIAC Security Leadership. Neaka Lynn Balloge

Neaka Lynn Balloge leads Security Awareness, Training, and Communications initiatives for NYU Langone Health, a large non-profit health system based in the metro NYC area. In her role, she is responsible for promoting secure cyber behaviors for clinicians, researchers, and educators across 5 hospitals, 380 ambulatory locations, and 2 medical schools. Prior to working in security awareness, Neaka was a Human Capital Consultant with Deloitte Consulting in Los Angeles and was a Pat Cox Fellow in the European Parliament and British House of Lords. She earned a master’s degree from Columbia University in Organizational Psychology and graduated summa cum laude with highest honors at NYU with undergraduate degrees in psychology and sociology. Neaka has also holds active certifications in project management (PMP), cybersecurity (GISF, GSLC) and awareness (CSAP, SSAP) and is currently working towards the CISM accreditation. She has attended two prior SANS Awareness Summits and previously served as an Advisor for the 2019 Summit. In her free time, she enjoys traveling and hiking, live music, and supporting Philly sports teams from a distance.

Nisreen Al Khatbib is the Head of Unit in the Corporate Information Security and Business Continuity Department at the Bank Audi. She has more than 15 years of experience in the information Security, Cybersecurity, IS Risk Management, Security Awareness & Education, Security & Regulating Compliance, and Business Continuity management. Recently, Nisreen has been focusing her efforts more on finding different ways and methods to raise users' security awareness for variance audience types, as she believes that such education is mandatory for everyone. One of the methods she is trying to use is storytelling, and she has started to share some stories on LinkedIn.

Nisreen speaks at local and regional conferences on topics varying from Cybersecurity, Risk Management, Women in Technology to topics on public speaking and leadership. Nisreen holds a Bachelor degree in Computer and Communications Engineering from AUB, an MBA from Edinburgh Business School and Advanced Management Program (AMP) from AUB. Nisreen is CISA, CISM, and CRISC certified. She holds COBIT Foundation and CSX Fundamentals Certificates. Nisreen is also an ISACA "SheLeadsTech" Liaison in Lebanon & ambassador, as well as an immediate past president of "ISACA Lebanon Chapter".

Oz Alashe MBE is CEO and Founder at CybSafe, a British cyber security and data analytics tech company based in London. A former UK Special Forces Lieutenant Colonel, Oz is focused on making society more secure by helping organizations address the human aspect of cyber security.

He has extensive experience and understanding in the areas of intelligence insight, complex human networks, and human cyber risk and resilience. He’s also passionate about reducing societal threats to stability and security by making the most of opportunities presented through advancements in technology.

Oz was made an MBE in 2010 for his personal leadership in the most complex of conflict environments. He is an Expert Fellow at The Security, Privacy, Identity and Trust Engagement NetworkPlus (SPRITE+) and at the Royal United Services Institute (RUSI). He is also a member of the SANS Security Awareness Summit Advisory Board.

Steffanie AK Schilling believes in empowering and partnering with individuals to better protect their data and the lives entangled within that data. Steffanie recently was honored as a SANS Cyber Security Difference Maker and Innovator, due to her unique ability to marry a keen understanding of human behavior with the technical elements of information security. Committed to diversity and inclusion in IT, Steffanie works to create opportunities for underrepresented individuals. She believes diversity is a key to driving innovation and solving the ever-growing skill-gap in Cyber. Steffanie holds a B.S. in Business with a focus in Marketing and B.A. Speech Communication with a focus in Organizational Communication, from Miami University. As passionate about the arts and cultures as she is cyber, Steffanie teaches, competes and social dances in swing dancing and other African American cultural artforms. She also travels the world when she can break away.

Stephanie Pratt is the Cyber Security Communications & Education Specialist at Blackbaud, the world’s leading cloud software company powering social good. She created “Cyber Aware” the company’s first security awareness program in January 2018. The Blackbaud Cyber Aware Program includes quarterly phish simulations and re-training, onboarding and annual training, cyber security project change management, a monthly speaker series, thought leadership and communications, a champions network, and monthly metrics. She attended her first SANS Security Summit and MGT433 in August 2018 and earned her SSAP in July 2019. She served on the 2018-2019 Security Awareness Summit Advisory Board. Before joining Blackbaud, Stephanie was the Non-Profit Nightingale at Bidr, an event and fundraising software. She helped clients plan and run successful fundraising events and led the company’s sales and marketing efforts. Her career as a TV reporter working for ABC stations in Oregon, South Carolina, New Hampshire and Time Warner in New York. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Broadcast Journalism from Emerson College. Stephanie is married with two children and lives in Charleston, SC. She is an active volunteer and fundraiser for many organizations including: her children’s schools, Girl Scouts, Charleston Youth Hockey Association, and the Junior League of Charleston.


Tomm Larson

Tomm Larson

Tomm Larson currently serves as the Cyber Security Awareness Lead for Idaho National Laboratory, and has worked in cyber security since 2002. He has had the great privilege of evangelizing cyber security across the nation and abroad. His career has included work in corporate, not-for-profit, and government organizations. He developed his passion for Cyber Security at Symantec Corporation, and then honed his instruction skills while working at the Center for Infrastructure Assurance and Security. Just before joining Idaho National Laboratory, he served as the Cyber Security Awareness Manager at Las Vegas Sands Corporation. He holds a B.A. in Communications (BYU), and a Master’s in Business Administration (UTSA), as well as the CISSP, the CISM, and the SSAP certifications. Tomm loves to play board and card games with his wife and five children, and is rediscovering yard work as a form of recreation. Unless you have plenty of free time, don’t ask him about his children, Texas, airplanes, or his Jack Russell Terrier. If you ever visit his office, take ear plugs, because he might be listening to bagpipes, banjos or bluegrass.
