As the deadline for organizations to comply with the GDPR draws near, organizations around the world are scrambling to ensure that they comply with the May 2018 deadline. The regulation stipulates that any organization that handles personal information on European citizens must ensure that adequate safeguards are in place to prevent unauthorized breaches. Organizations with limited resources will struggle to meet the demands placed by the regulation. This talk will provide practical tips on how organizations with limited resources can leverage existing initiatives to meet the requirements stipulated by the GDPR.
