What's New for Security in Windows 10 and Server 2016?
- Jason Fossen
- Monday, October 5th, 7:15pm - 9:15pm
Windows 8 was a flop, worse than Vista, so will Windows 10 be successful? The return of the Start Menu, touch screen integration, the faster Edge browser, and Cortana should make Windows 10 popular with users. Windows 10 also includes significant changes for security and manageability in large organizations, such as "Windows as a Service" rolling updates and deeper integration with Azure Active Directory.
In this lively talk, Jason Fossen, author of the Securing Windows (SEC505) course at SANS, will lay out what to love and fear in Windows 10 and Windows Server 2016. We will also talk about some of the epic changes going on at Microsoft, now that CEO Steve Ballmer is gone. Is it really a new era for Microsoft? Come join the presentation and see what Microsoft is betting its future on!
