Emerging Trends in Forensics and Incident Response
- Rob Lee and a panel of DFIR faculty
- Monday, May 12th, 7:15pm - 8:15pm
Panelists include Jake Williams, Paul Henry, Lenny Zeltser, Chad Tilbury, and Phil Hagen.
Digital Forensics and Incident Response (DFIR) capabilities have rapidly changed for the better over the past few years. New technologies that enable investigators and responders to become more efficient and exact with analysis have been game-changers in the field. With so many wonderful advancements, there are many areas of digital forensics that we are still struggling with. New operating systems, hardware, and software rapid releases have left forensics and incident response professionals struggling to keep up with the latest techniques, making it difficult to successfully analyze cases and breaches that involve recent technologies. This evening, a panel of DFIR specialists will discuss their thoughts on the biggest advancements and challenges currently facing investigators. Your questions will help guide the discussion toward trending topics that are relevant to you. Come listen in to hear the inner thoughts of our panelists on Emerging Trends in DFIR.
The following bonus sessions are open to all paid attendees at no additional cost. There are many different types of events that fall into these categories:
- SANS@Night: Evening presentations given after day courses have ended. This category includes Keynotes.
