In spite of myriad preventive and detective security advancements, passwords still remain critically important to virtually every organization. Because of this continued import, attackers approach passwords, and their hashed representations, as high value targets. This talk will provide details regarding current approaches to compromising these vital authentication parameters. Current tools and techniques for acquiring password hashes and tokens from Windows hosts and domains will be the primary focus of this presentation.
