Finding Attacks and Compromises Before Day Zero

  • David Hoelzer
  • Monday, July 15th, 7:15pm - 9:15pm

Do you have firewalls, SIEMs, IDS, IPS, and many other "solutions" that are supposed to keep the bad guys out, or at least let you know when they are trying to get in? Do you still have this nagging sense that, despite all of that, bad things are going on in the network, yet you have no visibility of them? How can you find the things that really matter that none of your existing tools are telling you about? David Hoelzer, SANS Fellow and COO of Enclave Forensics, will walk you through useful examples of things that you can do as soon as you get back to your office to improve your east-west visibility and begin to identify malicious activities before the new 0-Day is released.
