Live Event starts in 130 Days

Deadline: Monday, June 8 at 5 pm CDT.
We are accepting proposed talks via our online survey form.

The SANS Oil & Gas Cybersecurity Summit will bring leading experts together to discuss industry trends, challenges, and opportunities. They’ll address recent attacks and current threats, integrated IT/OT security operations, best practices, and lessons learned to benefit the community.

We are interested in proposed talks on topics including, but not limited to:

  • Case studies examining real-world incident response workflows, from detection to recovery
  • Differing security challenges across the industry: upstream, midstream, and downstream
  • Ever-flattening architecture driven by business changes and the security effects they introduce
  • Security key performance indicators (KPIs) and dashboards
  • Case studies examining real-world ICS security projects, threats, tools, and remediations
  • Understanding risks to infrastructure, performance, and intellectual property
  • The correlation and prioritization between operational risk and security risk, an end users perspective
  • Creating secure IT environments without breaking OT environments
  • OT integrated Security Operation Centers (SOCs) best practices

This list is not exhaustive. We look forward to your ideas for talks that will provide actionable knowledge to attendees.

Proposed presentations should be case studies based on real-world experience, lessons learned, and best practices, and should give attendees actionable advice they can implement immediately upon returning to their organizations.
