Northern VA Spring- Reston 2019

Reston, VA | Sun, May 19 - Fri, May 24, 2019

From the Mean Streets to the Information Superhighway

  • John TerBush
  • Wednesday, May 22nd, 7:15pm - 8:15pm

This talk will offer Insights into research and investigations from the perspective of a cyber analyst with a background as a private investigator. The presentation will draw on years of experience in the field and in front of a keyboard to make connections between the worlds of physical security, "old-school" OSINT, and online investigations. He will share thoughts on investigative processes, techniques, and "gotchas" that may shift your perspective on how to manage and conduct investigations.

John TerBush @thegumshoo, Senior Threat Intelligence Researcher, Recorded Future
