Using Network Traffic Analytics for Detecting and Mitigating Advanced Malware

This session from ExtraHop Networks introduces students to the fundamental principles behind the evolving field of Network Traffic Analytics and it how it can be used for advanced detection, triage, and remediation of the latest malware threats. Students will be exposed to next-generation threat hunting techniques via advanced L2 - L7 protocol analysis, using both real-time and historical data. Additionally, this course will delve into various behavioral techniques available for detection/determination of advanced malware (e.g. temporal anomaly detection, protocol-specific behaviors, outlier detection, etc.)
