- National Electric Sector Cybersecurity Organization (NESCO)
The National Electric Sector Cybersecurity Organization (NESCO) is an independent industry owned and operated group that supports awareness of, and response to, sector-relevant security issues. The NESCO is partially funded by the Department of Energy. The National Electric Sector Cyber security Organization (NESCO) will be hosting a "Voice of the Industry" meeting. This event is for electric sector asset owners only and is designed to be an open discussion forum. The purpose is to gather insight from the asset owner community on challenges they are currently facing relevant to securing their cyber infrastructures. This informal roundtable discussion will provide perspective for NESCO to drive programs, solutions and other collaborative opportunities designed to help the industry improve reliability through practical and effective cyber security. Space is limited to 20-30 attendees.
The following bonus sessions are open to all paid attendees at no additional cost. There are many different types of events that fall into these categories:
- Special Events: SANS-hosted events and other non-technical recreational offerings. This category includes, but is not limited to, Receptions and Information Tables.
- Vendor: Events hosted by external vendor exhibitors.
- Lunch & Learn: Short presentations given during the lunch break.
