IT Security 101 Oversights = Compromise + Poor Incident Evidence
- Steve Armstrong
- Thursday, October 11th, 6:00pm - 7:00pm
In this session we will look at an organisation that was hacked and identify how the poor administration and human errors resulted in widespread compromise of key elements of a network.
This is based upon a recent real world attack and protracted incident. We will cover the attackers actions, the difficulties of dealing with an incident on systems with poor logs and limited access.
The following bonus sessions are open to all paid attendees at no additional cost. There are many different types of events that fall into these categories:
- SANS@Night: Evening presentations given after day courses have ended. This category includes Keynotes.
