Monterey, CA | Wed, Mar 5 - Mon, Mar 10, 2014
This event is over,
but there are more training opportunities.

We invite you to attend SANS DFIRCON 2014. Brand New for 2014 - a SANS Digital Forensics and Incident Response (DFIR) themed training conference -- dē-'fәr-'kän / DFIRCON 2014.

This DFIR focused event has all of your favorite courses and speakers and will also include special presentations. This is a must-attend event as industry-leading experts focus on helping you take your DFIR skills to new levels.

Our campus, the Monterey Marriott, is located near Carmel by the Sea and is within walking distance of the Monterey Peninsula and the area's family activities and top attractions. Cannery Row, with its shopping and dining, is a short drive away. Some Monterey attractions are:

  • Monterey is near Carmel, Big Sur, Pacific Grove and Pebble Beach along the Monterey Peninsula of the Central California Pacific Coast
  • Daily average high temperatures in the 60s

Here's what SANS Forensic course alumni have said about the value of SANS training:

FOR408 provides more knowledge and skill for my job as a forensics examiner. - William Lam, SVRCFL

Rob's anecdotes add to overall class time but are funny and provide a welcome 5 minute respite from the material so you have a chance to let your brain relax! - Lucas Burke, Villanova University

This FOR508 training is valuable to me because it goes over the same tactics that the attackers use. The labs are also excellent. - Victor Pineiro, HP

All manuals should be written like those used in FOR526. Not only do you see the answers, but also now how you got there, which makes them very useful. - Barry Friedman, NY Police
