Forensic Handling of the iPhone 5c and 5s
- Heather Mahalik
- Friday, March 7th, 7:00pm - 8:00pm
Commercial smartphone forensic tools often play cat and mouse to catch up as new devices are released. How should the latest iOS devices be handled? How can we forensically acquire the data? What if they are locked? This presentation will cover the latest capabilities on iOS devices and will focus on the shortfalls of the tools available and will suggest forensic work-arounds.
The following bonus sessions are open to all paid attendees at no additional cost. There are many different types of events that fall into these categories:
- SANS@Night: Evening presentations given after day courses have ended. This category includes Keynotes.
- Special Events: SANS-hosted events and other non-technical recreational offerings. This category includes, but is not limited to, Receptions and Information Tables.
- Lunch & Learn: Short presentations given during the lunch break.
