Call for Presentations open through Monday, February 3rd at 5 pm CST.

Proposed presentations should be case studies based on real-world experience, lessons learned, and best practices, and should give attendees actionable advice they can implement immediately upon returning to their organizations.

All presentations must be made via our online survey form.

Topic of interest include, but are not limited to:

  • Securing serverless technologies
  • Performing IR in cloud environments that no longer exist
  • Multi-cloud disaster recovery and business continuity planning
  • Security-led innovation through proactive enablement/modernization of applications/process/policy
  • Experiences “lifting and shifting” away from an on-prem data center
  • Hybrid cloud/edge computing
  • Managing access and identity in the cloud
  • Identity federation and single sign-on (SSO)
  • Vulnerability management in containers and virtual machines
  • Image hardening/image lifecycle management
  • Case studies of cloud migrations and lessons learned the hard way

Who Should Submit

Diversity of thought is critical for cybersecurity, and SANS welcomes and encourages participation by everyone regardless of age, gender identification, culture, ethnicity, sexual orientation, or religious affliiation. Whatever your background, whoever you are, we encourage you to respond to the CFP. We provide mentoring to all speakers and welcome people who are newer to the field or who have not yet done any public speaking.

All speakers receive complimentary registration for the Summit for themselves and a guest. A continental breakfast and buffet lunch are included.

SANS does not cover travel expenses for speakers. However, we offer a limited number of need-based stipends for travel.
