Teuta Hyseni is a Security Engineer at Microsoft. As a Security Engineer, she is responsible for leading application security projects, assessing potential flaws within applications, and reviewing the application's architecture. Teuta started her career as a Software Engineer at Rackspace. After that, she moved to Denim Group where she began working on the cybersecurity side and became fascinated with it. Teuta is committed to educating others outside of the industry on security threats and best practice, maximizing the impact of her security expertise through different talks and mentorship programs. In recognition of her efforts, she was Security Champion of the Year finalist in 2018 at the Women in IT Awards. As part of her passion for the tech industry and innovation, Teuta and her mentees won first place in the World Blockchain Hackathon at the Blockchain Economic Forum in 2018, a worldclass competition. As an advocate for gender diversity, she also has a keen interest in motivating, inspiring, and improving women's participation in the industry.

Eric

Eric Johnson @emjohn20

Eric is a co-founder and principal security engineer at Puma Security focusing on modern static analysis product development and DevSecOps automation. His experience includes application security automation, cloud security reviews, static source code analysis, web and mobile application penetration testing, secure development lifecycle consulting, and secure code review assessments.
Previously, Eric spent 5 years as a principal security consultant at an information security consulting firm helping companies deliver secure products to their customers, and another 10 years as an information security engineer at a large US financial institution performing source code audits.

As a Certified Instructor with the SANS Institute, Eric authors information security courses on DevSecOps, cloud security, secure coding, and defending mobile apps. He serves on the advisory board for the SANS Security Awareness Developer training program, delivers security training around the world, and presents security research at conferences including SANS, BlackHat, OWASP, BSides, JavaOne, UberConf, and ISSA.
Eric completed a bachelor's degree in computer engineering and a masters degree in information assurance at Iowa State University, and currently holds the CISSP, GWAPT, GSSP-.NET, and GSSP-Java certifications.

Previously, as CISO at the SANS Institute, Frank led the information risk function for the most trusted source of computer security training and certification in the world. With the SANS Institute, Frank continues to lead the management and software security curricula, helping to develop the next generation of security leaders.
Frank was also executive director of cybersecurity at Kaiser Permanente where he built an innovative security program to meet the unique needs of the nation's largest not-for-profit health plan and integrated health care provider with annual revenue of $60 billion, 10 million members, and 175,000 employees.

Seth Law is an experienced Application Security Professional with over 15 years of experience in the computer security industry. During this time, Seth has worked within multiple disciplines in the security field, from software development to network protection, as a manager and individual contributor. Seth has honed his application security skills using offensive and defensive techniques, including tool development. His understanding of the software development lifecycle and ability to equate security issues with development tasks has allowed him to speak at conferences ranging from Blackhat and DEF CON to local security meetups. In his spare time, Seth revels in deep-level analysis of programming languages and inherent flaws, helps develop the iOS version of Hacker Tracker, and co-hosts the Absolute AppSec podcast with Ken Johnson.

Astha Singhal @ashta_singhal

Astha Singhal leads the Application Security team at Netflix that is responsible for securing all the applications in Netflix's cloud infrastructure that help run the Netflix product and business. Prior to this, she managed product security for the Salesforce AppExchange and other core Salesforce products. She is a security engineer by qualification who is passionate about proactive security and developer enablement. She is also an active member of the Bay Area security community as an organizer of conferences like AppSec USA and BSidesSF.
