19:00 - 19:45 - Defeating Advanced Adversaries - Leveraging the Kill Chain (Erik Van Buggenhout)

In this presentation, NVISO co-founder and SANS certified Instructor Erik Van Buggenhout will discuss how advanced adversaries are attempting to penetrate your environment AND what you can do to stop or detect them. The talk will focus on principles & techniques that are readily available to all (most) organisations, WITHOUT breaking the bank to purchase a myriad of commercial tools.

19:45 - 20:30 - How I hacked your home - IoT security nightmares... (Cédric Bassem)

Cédric is one of NVISO's security experts with a key focus on IoT (in)security. During this talk, he will walk through key concepts & design choices when devices are being connected to the Internet. As a key example, Cédric will use a home security system to illustrate a number of things that could go wrong (and did!).
