O'Shea Bowens

O'Shea Bowens is a cyber security enthusiast with a decade of experience. He is the founder of Null Hat Security, and the cyber security operations center(CSOC) manager for Toast Inc. His experience sits in the areas of incident response, threat hunting, SOC operations and blue team engagements. O'Shea has worked and consulted for companies and clients in the space of federal government, Fortune 500, and international firms. He specializes in areas of incident response, network and systems security, security architecture and threat hunting. O'Shea is also the co-founder of "Intrusion Diversity System", a bi-monthly hosted cyber security podcast. When he's not playing with malware he enjoys snowboarding and spending time with his family.

Doug is a CEO, public speaker, teacher, former president of the Greater Augusta ISSA, co-founder of BSides Augusta, and SANS GSE #24, but what he really likes the most is catching bad guys.

Holly is an information security and technology professional with a background in cloud technologies, enterprise security, and identity engineering. She is a Program Manager on the Identity Engineering team at Microsoft. Prior to joining Microsoft, she was an IT Manager in Unilever’s Identity and Access Management team. When not securing identities Holly and her husband enjoy travelling.


Chris Sanders

Chris is an information security author, instructor, and researcher. He has written five books including “Practical Packet Analysis” and “Applied Network Security Monitoring”, both best-sellers in their respective categories. Chris previously worked with the US Department of Defense, InGuardians, and Mandiant to build security operation centers and train security analysts focused on defending networks. In 2016, Chris founded Applied Network Defense, where he focuses on delivering high quality, affordable security training. Chris’s research interests are focused on the intersection of applied psychology, metacognition, and information security education.

Jamie Williams

Jamie Williams

Jamie Williams is an engineer for The MITRE Corporation where he works on various efforts involving security operations and research. He is also a member of both the MITRE ATT&CK™ and ATT&CK Evaluations teams. Before joining MITRE, Jamie received his M.S. in Information Systems Engineering from Johns Hopkins University and his B.S. in Information Systems from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC).


Ismael Valenzuela

SANS Certified Instructor Ismael Valenzuela is coauthor of the CyberDefense and Blue Team Operations course, SANS SEC530: Defensible Security Architecture.
Since he founded one of the first IT Security consultancies in Spain, Ismael Valenzuela has participated as a security professional in numerous projects across the globe over the past 19 years.
Prior to his current role as Senior Principal Engineer at McAfee, where he leads research on threat hunting using machine-learning and expert-system driven investigations, Ismael led the delivery of SOC, IR & Forensics services for the Foundstone Services team within Intel globally. Previously, Ismael worked as Global IT Security Manager for iSOFT Group Ltd, one of the world's largest providers of healthcare IT solutions, managing their security operations in more than 40 countries.
He holds a bachelor's degree in computer science from the University of Malaga (Spain), is certified in business administration, and holds many professional certifications. These include the highly regarded GIAC Security Expert (GSE #132) in addition to GREM, GCFA, GCIA, GCIH, GPEN, GCUX, GCWN, GWAPT, GSNA, GMON, CISSP, ITIL, CISM, and IRCA 27001 Lead Auditor from Bureau Veritas UK.


Anne Marie Zettlemoyer

Anne Marie Zettlemoyer is a cyber strategist with over 20 years of experience in 8 industries. Sitting at the intersection of business, security, and analytics, Anne Marie has served as a trusted advisor for Fortune 500 companies, government agencies, law enforcement, security vendors, and think tanks. She is a Vice President of Security Engineering and Business Security Officer at Mastercard, a member of the Board of Directors for SSH Security, a visiting National Security Institute Fellow at GMU’s Scalia Law School, and has held a number of strategic and technical security leadership roles including the Head of Security Architecture, Engineering, and Solutions at Freddie Mac, Director of the Cyber Think Tank at Capital One, Director of Business Analytics at FireEye, and Special Advisor for the Director of the US Secret Service. In addition to CISSP and CeH certifications, Anne Marie holds an MBA from the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor as well as undergraduate degrees in both Accounting and Finance.
