Interested in knowing what the Internet does to a vulnerable machine protected with a weak password? Come and join this talk, as we will investigate the results of a 1-month exposure to the Internet and analyze the techniques that have been used by attackers to compromise our machine!
20h - 21h - "Analyzing a Second-Hand ATM (Automated Teller Machine)"
ATMās are the main component of self-servicing banking functions used by millions of banking customers worldwide. In Europe alone, as of 30 June 2013, 400,000 ATM devices were deployed and this number is expected to further increase in the next few years. We did our part and also purchased an ATM device early 2014! During this talk, we will summarize our approach and the initial results of our research activities.
