Discovering and Acquiring Virtualized Servers on vSphere and ESXi

This presentation will demonstrate tools and techniques to conduct server and network discovery in a virtualized environment and how to leverage the software used by administrators to acquire virtual machines hosted on vSphere and ESXi.
Speaker Bio: Scott is a Special Agent for the Department of Veterans Affairs Office of Inspector General (VA OIG). For the past eight years Scott has worked at both the VA OIG and the United States Secret Service as an investigator of cybercrime and network intrusions as well as an examiner conducting forensic analysis of electronic devices and network artifacts in support of criminal and administrative investigations. Scott is a candidate for the Master of Science degree in Information Security Engineering from the SANS Technology Institute.
