Industrial Control Systems (ICS) and networks have increased in size and complexity, and integrate more and more standard IT systems as part of the solution. The optimum set-up of these systems can often be undertaken quicker and in a more secure manner by IT staff with many years ' experience configuring these systems than by OT staff, who are often unfamiliar with the complexities of these systems. However, there is often a wall erected between these two groups resulting in distrust and unwillingness to co-operate.
As we accelerate the IT-type systems and software integrated and essential to today's ICS we must learn how to break down these walls. This webinar will give an overview of the problem and the historical back ground before outlining a number of methods that can be utilized to ensure that the respective IT and OT staff can begin to integrate and work seamlessly together.
