A recognized expert in threat detection and SIEM, he previously served as a Gartner analyst and is credited with coining the term “EDR.” He’s also the author of several seminal books on security and co-hosts the Cloud Security Podcast by Google.

Wesley Kuzma has over 17 years of experience in cybersecurity and currently serves as the Sr. Director Security Architecture within Microsoft's Engineering & Architecture Group.

Frank Kim is the Founder of ThinkSec, a security consulting and CISO advisory firm. He leads the Cybersecurity Leadership and Cloud Security curricula at SANS, as well as authors and instructs multiple SANS courses.

Brandon is an independent security consultant and SANS Senior Instructor. He is lead author for SEC510: Cloud Security Controls and Mitigations; GPCS holder #1, multi-year RSA Conference presenter, and cloud Bug Bounty collector.

Simon Vernon brings more than a quarter century of experience to his role as Head of Research and Development for SANS Institute where he is responsible for the creation and operations of all Jupiter Rockets, BootUP, and Community Cyber Ranges.
