**Please note: This is a dry run of the course extended to students with the expectation that you will put extra effort into constructive advice on your evaluation sheets to help us fully tune the course. This means you get all of the same great material and training for a discounted tuition and will be able to help further structure this course.

Get "up and running" with the TippingPoint Intrusion Prevention System. In this fast-paced 6 hour course, students will learn how to use many different aspects of TippingPoint IPS including how to configure filters and quarantine, monitor events and much more. This course is designed to be hands-on, and prepare the student to be able to use TippingPoint IPS as an effective security tool.

NOTE: This course is not meant to teach the concepts Intrusion Prevention. It is strongly recommended to get the full benefit of the course, students have previously taken an introductory course on intrusion detection or prevention.
