What is the OnDemand Bundle?

The SANS OnDemand Bundle options are available for up to $399 as "supplemental training" when purchasing a course through SANS Self Study.

The OnDemand Bundle is a tactical study tool that uses a combination of learning techniques to reinforce the concepts taught in the course. You'll receive 4-months of access to OnDemand's online system, which includes web-based courseware, course lectures & assessment tests presented one learning objective at a time, along with access to our virtual mentor. Some of our technical courses also include hands-ons exercises and labs. OnDemand enables you to hone your knowledge of each learning objective and to fully prepare you for the GIAC exams.

Note: This discounted rate is only available for the course which you are taking through another SANS training program and must be purchased at the time of registration. For example, if you are registering for SEC401 at a live event, you may only purchase a bundle for SEC401.

What do you receive with SANS Self Study Tuition?

• SANS printed course books and any related hands-on CD (CD not applicable to all courses)
• Two GIAC Practice Tests (GIAC Certification students only)
• Up to four-month online access to MP3 files of the course taught by the world's best instructors

Am I able to purchase the GIAC Certification or STAR Report for my Self Study course?

Yes, you are able to purchase the GIAC Certification/STAR Assessment attempts for your Self Study course. If purchased along with your training, the cost of the Certification attempt is $499.00 and you will have 4 months from the date of access to complete. Should you purchase the STAR Report with your training, the cost of the STAR is $49.00 and you will also have 4 months from the date of access to complete.

How do I access my MP3 audio files?

After logging into your portal account you will see a "Self Study Files" link on your portal home page. Click on the link to access the MP3 audio files.

Am I able to download the MP3 audio files to keep?

Yes, you will need to right click on each link, select the "Save As" option, select the location you would like the file stored, and change the file type to .mp3.

How long is the access period for the mp3 files of the course through my SANS Portal account?

Access to the downloadable mp3 files are for 4 months (120 days) from the date payment is received. Should you need to purchase an extension to your certification exam (30 days for $199), the access to the mp3 files are also extended.
