We are proud to announce we are back in sunny Orlando, right in the heart of Walt Disney World (www.disneyworld.com). After reading our evaluations it became clear that our students wanted us to come back to the Disney property where a slew of dining options, bars, and the parks are all within walking distance or minutes away on the free transportation system. With temperatures in the 70's, this training event is the perfect opportunity to bring the family as the entire property celebrates 50 years of Disney parks with brand-new attractions, shows, and special events.

SANS2006 is located at the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Hotel (www.swandolphin.com) within walking distance of both EPCOT and The Disney-MGM Studios. The Disney property is twice the size of Manhattan, so we recommend you stay in the hotel complex which features views of the two parks and fireworks at night. As an extra treat, if you book under the special SANS rate, you will receive complimentary high speed internet, health club access, and unlimited toll free phone calls. However, make sure to book with our special group on-line reservation system or mention SANS when calling since these amenities are not available complimentary to the general public.

Conference Location

SANS 2006 will be located at the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resort.

The Walt Disney World Swan is now a smoke free hotel as part of a new policy with the Westin chain. If you would like to request a smoking room you will want to book at the Walt Disney World Dolphin which is part of the Sheraton chain. Availability on smoking rooms is not guaranteed and is based on hotel inventory.

The Walt Disney Swan & Dolphin Resorts are sold out over certain nights during SANS 2006. However, you can join the online reservation waiting list with the hotel in case additional rooms become available.

We do have overflow rooms available at Disney's Port Orleans Riverside for $150 single/double which includes high speed internet access complimentary in your guest room.

The hotel will require a major credit card and one night's deposit to guarantee your reservation. To cancel your reservation you must notify the hotel at least five days before your planned arrival date.

High speed internet access is complimentary in all guest rooms for both the hotel and overflow hotel only for attendees who have registered under the SANS Institute group rate.

Disney's Port Orleans Riverside is in the heart of the Walt Disney World property and about a 10 minute drive to SANS2006. Complimentary Disney transportation is available by bus to the Disney-MGM Studios with a transfer to the Walt Disney World Swan & Dolphin via water taxi. Please leave 45 minutes to an hour one way. Taxi service is also available at both properties for around $10 per trip. Please note all off property hotels are at least a 15 minute drive.

Directions to Hotel
From Orlando International Airport:
  • Take the South exit.
  • After 4.2 miles, the 417 South (Central Florida Greenway) exit appears on the right (this is a toll road which will cost a total of $2.00).
  • You will stay on the Central Florida Greenway (417) for 18.2 miles.
  • There are two exits: the "Epcot® Center/Disney Village" exit (#6) and the "Magic Kingdom/Disney-MGM Studios" exit (#3). Take exit #3 (which is called Osceola Parkway).
  • At the bottom of the exit ramp, turn right (West). Continue on this road and you will soon see the Walt Disney World signage.
  • Stay in the right lane and look for the exit marked "Disney-MGM Studios, Epcot® Resort Area, etc." Exit to the right.
  • You should now see the "Earful Tower" (water tower with Mickey ears) on your right.
  • Immediately after on the right is an exit marked "Disney-MGM Studios, Epcot® Resort Area, Magic Kingdom, Disney Village". Take this exit and veer to the right. The exit will merge onto Buena Vista Dr. Immediately get into the left lane.
  • At the first light, take a left (you are now on Epcot Resorts Boulevard).
  • The first right takes you to the entrance of the WALT DISNEY WORLD SWAN. Continue straight ahead to the front of the hotel.
  • The second right takes you to the entrance of the WALT DISNEY WORLD DOLPHIN.
    • From Tampa:
  • Take I-4 East to Exit 62 and follow signs to Walt Disney World. (Exit 62 is not shown on map above).
  • Merge onto World Drive, follow signs to Epcot Resorts/Downtown Disney (past first exit to MGM).
  • Take ramp on right that says Disney/MGM Studios/Epcot Resorts/Downtown Disney.
  • Merge onto Buena Vista Drive (this is a tight merge--be careful of traffic) and get in left lane.
  • Take immediate left onto Epcot Resorts Boulevard at the light.
  • First right takes you to the entrance of the Walt Disney World Swan.
  • Second right takes you to the entrance of the Walt Disney World Dolphin.

    From Daytona (heading South):
  • Take I-4 West to exit 67 (old 26B).
  • You should see the Walt Disney World signage as soon as you enter into the resort area.

  • You are now on Buena Vista Drive.
