George Starcher
Mr. Starcher has broad experience in Information Technology, Facility Security and Information Security. His roles have ranged across IT Network Manager, Forensic Video Analyst, Loss Prevention Detective and Information Security Manager. His currently is assisting in designing and running a third Digital Combat Exercise for the Huntsville, AL chapter of the ISSA. Mr. Starcher also has technical skills and experience in specialty concentrations of Network Management/Design and Security Administration, having designed, implemented, and supported high availability networks, wireless networks, and other platforms.
As network and information security manager for Cinram, Inc. in Nashville, George has designed, constructed and administered networks for distribution facilities serving 20th Century Fox, MGM and Warner Brothers. He is certified as a CISSP, SANS GSEC, CCE, CWNA, MCSE (NT 4.0) with a former CCNA certification. George has led the SANS Security Essentials course on four occasions for the Sans Institute in Huntsville and Birmingham, Alabama. Mr. Starcher is a member of the ISSA and ASIS security organizations.
