Hassan El Hadary

Hassan El-Hadary is the first Community SANS instructor in the Middle East. He is currently a lead consultant at SecureMisr heading the application security assessment and code review team. He is also responsible for performing penetration tests as well as advising customers in the areas of PCI-DSS and PCI-PIN Security Compliance Requirements. He started his career as a programmer in one of the leading software development houses in the region, during which he developed his passion for information security.
Hassan received his MasterÔs degree in Computer Science from the American University in Cairo with a Master's Thesis in the field of Secure Software Engineering. He published the research paper entitled "Capturing Security Requirements for Software Systems" at US - Egypt Cyber Security Workshop 2013. In addition, he was a speaker at SANS Pen Test Berlin 2013 and SKLABS 2012.
Hassan is an active participant in bug bounty programs. He reported valid vulnerabilities to PayPal, eBay, Etsy, Groupon, and Cisco Meraki.
