Duane Blanchard

Duane is well-rounded professional with over six years' experience in security, including cryptography, two-factor authentication, U.S. border security planning, threat entity resolution, social engineering, and non-destructive entry. Duane holds an AAS in electronic engineering, a BA in foreign langauges, an MA in linguistics. He is a CISSP and GPEN, and is working toward the GSE and OSCP. He has two patents pending and continues to pursue research professionally and independently. Ever the thrill seeker, Duane spends his free time mountain biking, kayaking, and guiding whitewater rafters. He has lived in China and Mongolia and eaten more types of protien than many people can name. He is very excited to be mentoring SEC 560 as it contains the highest volume of hands-on material of all the SANS courses, and offers something for everyone.
