Wireless Vulnerabilities and Exploits Project
One of the biggest challenges with wireless security is staying current with the emerging threat landscape. One project, the Wireless Vulnerabilities and Exploits (WVE) database is positioned to address this problem. Coordinated by SANS Institute senior instructor Joshua Wright, the WVE is a public resource building an exhaustive list of wireless vulnerabilities and exploits against all wireless mediums including WiFi, WiMax, Bluetooth and others. As a vendor-neutral resource, the WVE provides a concise source of information for wireless threats with a common enumeration system that is rapidly being adopted by vendor products. For more information visit the WVE site at http://www.wve.org.
This is hands-down, the premiere training opportunity.
