Hacking the Hospital
Research into connected smart devices widely used in hospitals and care centers across the globe have found not only vulnerabilities but case studies of active exploits. Remote access to confidential information gets the news coverage, but the potential goes much further. We will examine some of the known cases in detail and discuss ways in which medical device vendors and customers can better protect themselves and their end-users (you and me) from malicious misuse.
