Pattern recognition is an effective way to deter insider threats, but many organizations shy away from the very idea, thinking it too complicated for them. They're right, if one thinks the job has to be done from scratch, but a new class of network protection software enables the use of prepackaged policies to perform much of the heavy lifting during configuration. Such pre-configuration should be coupled with endpoint monitoring of both systems and users, privacy protection, role-based access control and integration with security information and event management (SIEM) tools. Raytheon SureView Insider Threat provides all of these while offering the ability to replay incidents with full activity capture. This webcast will discuss new trends in data protection and the SANS AnalystProgram review of SureView Insider Threat.
