Financial organizations--charged with protecting client monies, identities and credit--are not as cybersecure as they should be, according to the SANS 2014 survey on security in financial services industries. Responding organizations reported experiencing multiple breaches and said they were still struggling for critical visibility and response capabilities that can be utilized across their branches, data centers, endpoints and consumer apps--the latter of which have become increasingly mobile.

This webcast reveals the results of our 2015 Financial Services survey conducted between March and April 2015. This new survey provides an updated look at security in our financial institutions. Attendees will learn about:

  • The causes of security incidents, along with the quantifiable losses related to the breaches
  • Security budget issues
  • Drivers behind security programs
  • Related standards and regulations
  • Evaluations of security and risk programs
  • Effectiveness of technologies

The webcast will also touch on respondent best practices and wish lists for innovations in the coming years, including the critical discussion around threat and vulnerability information-sharing.
