Don Franke is a software developer with over 15 years of experience, focusing on information security in the last several years. He currently develops innovative security tools and performs security analysis for the Cyber Threat Operations Center at USAA. He is also a senior member of the Information Systems Security Association (ISSA) and is on the board of his local chapter, assisted ISC2 with the creation of the Certified Secure Software Lifecycle Professional (CSSLP) certification, and has taught several classes to prepare students for this challenging exam.
Previously, Don has worked at Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC) as a information assurance security officer for US Army and Air Force contracts, and for Tech 100 companies such as Dell, Motorola, and US Robotics/3Com as a software engineer. He holds CISSP and CSSLP certifications, and has earned a Master's degree in Information Assurance from the University of Texas at San Antonio.
