Chicago 2008 Keynote
Advanced Technical Auditing in 2008
- James Tarala
- Wednesday, September 3rd * 5:30pm - 7:00pm

While the process and importance of auditing has not changed, there are critical methodologies and themes that auditors should seriously consider in 2008 and in the near future. Audit programs should regularly evaluate the technology and risk environment where they are conducting audits and ensure that their crafts are up to date. The tests performed on information systems in 2006 are simply not as relevant today. Expanding on these thoughts, and common themes revisited, James Tarala will discuss challenges and considerations auditors must evaluate in 2008.
