Kenton Smith
Kenton has been involved in the computer industry for the last 15 years, specifically in systems and network administration for the last seven. He has the GIAC Security Essentials Certification (GSEC) and has led this course in the SANS Mentor format six previous times in Calgary. Kenton is one of SANS most experienced mentors and has guided more than 60 people through the SANS Security Essentials material over the past three years. He has taken on this responsibility because "I want to help people get the full meaning out of the huge amount of network security material available to them in SANS courses.
