General Information

Important Time Information:

SANS Bootcamp 2007 will run 9:00 am - 5:00pm If you are traveling, we suggest you stay in the conference hotel, or as close as possible. If you live in the general area, please consider sharing the drive with a friend or co-worker.

  • All full day courses will run 9:00am - 5:00pm.
  • Monday, January 15th: Class starts at 8:00am, lunch break at 11:30am - 2:00pm. Class ends at 5:30pm (for ALL classes EXCEPT MGT 414 which ends at 7:00pm). There are also additional Bootcamp hours as listed below.
  • MGT 414: MANDATORY Bootcamp Sessions will be from 8:00am - 9:00am on course days 2-6 and from 5:00pm - 7:00pm on course days 1-5.
  • SEC 401: Bootcamp Sessions will be on days 1-5 from 7:00pm - 9:00pm.
  • All other classes that have bootcamp will be on days 1 & 2 and days 4 & 5 from 7:00pm - 9:00pm.
Daily Break:

Daily break at SANS conferences are as follows.

  • Morning Break 10:30am - 10:50am ~ (Morning Snack - provided)
  • Lunch 12:15pm - 1:30pm ~ (On Your Own)
  • Afternoon Break 3:00pm - 3:20pm ~ (Drinks & Snack - provided)

Accommodation for Students With Disabilities:

SANS Institute is committed to assisting course participants subject to disabilities. SANS will provide the following at no additional cost to the employers of participants with disabilities: an additional seat in the classroom and an additional set of course materials for Auxiliary Aides and/or the course notes in computer-readable format, as requested by the participant's employer. The employer of the participant shall be responsible for all other costs of any necessary accommodation, including arranging and paying for Auxiliary Aides. The employer may call 1-301-654-SANS(7267) to request that SANS Institute make the arrangements for Auxiliary Aides and bill the costs to the employer. It is the responsibility of the employer to confirm with SANS all such arrangements at least four weeks before the course.

CISSP Members:

CISSP members may supply their CISSP ID# and SANS will submit a request to CISSP for the attendee to receive credit for CPEs earned. There is a blue box below the payment section on the registration form to enter your CISSP ID#.
